Man Utd's stance on hiring Thomas Tuchel revealed

 Manchester United have ruled out the possibility of replacing head coach Ruben Amorim with England boss Thomas Tuchel, according to reports.

Tuchel was strongly linked with the manager’s job at Old Trafford when Erik ten Hag was sacked but United ended up appointing Amorim instead.

With the United role off the table, Tuchel took charge of the Three Lions, replacing Gareth Southgate ahead of the World Cup next year.

It had been rumoured United were once again looking at Tuchel but The Sun have reported he is not under consideration if the club sack Amorim.

Speaking last year, football presenter Laura Woods branded Tuchel a ‘maverick’ and claimed he’d be ‘perfect’ to manage United.

Before taking charge of England, Tuchel managed the likes of Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund.

Tuchel helped Chelsea win the Champions League in 2021 as well as the Club World Cup and Super Cup.

Amorim is under huge pressure at United and it’s reported the club have been looking at a number of possible replacements for the 40-year-old.

Oliver Glasner and Laurent Blanc are currently the joint favourites to become the next permanent United manager with Sky Bet at odds of 7/2.

Behind them is former England boss Southgate at 5/1 with Mauricio Pochettino, Zinedine Zidane and Ole Gunnar Solskjær all 15/2.

Brazil boss Carlo Ancelotti is 25/1 and former United defender Paul Parker has told his old club to do whatever it takes to bring in the Italian manager.
